Cold but bright morning to join Keynsham Wombles on their 1st litter pick of 2026, starting from The Lock Keeper. Pictures show just some of the rubbish collected in an hour and a quarter. We then joined everyone for coffee and cake and a good catch up.
Huge thanks to customers and staff at Tesco, Keynsham today for all your donations and interest in the South West UK Lions club and our Christmas charity collection.
We were at the Keynsham Winter Festival with Santa.
We were at Marksbury Car Boot Sale. It's was a lovely day and the last sale of 2025. We were selling art & craft items, books, bags, jigsaws and games. As always, all proceeds will go to support local charities and community groups.
A few boxes of spectacles collected from opticians in Zone K waiting to be delivered to Lions National HQ in Birmingham, where they will be sorted ready to be sent to countries where they are needed. Our thanks to opticians in Bath, Cheddar, Emersons Green, Frome, Glastonbury and Street, Keynsham, Radstock and Midsomer Norton and Wells, who collect spectacles for Cheddar Vale, Frome, Glastonbury and Street, Radstock and Midsomer Norton, South West UK and Wells Lions Clubs.
